Kofola Group

Kofola ČeskoSlovensko is part of the Kofola Group, one of the leading producers and distributors of non-alcoholic beverages in Central and Eastern Europe. Besides the traditional CzechoSlovak market where the Group is a leader, the Group is also present in Slovenia, in Croatia and in Poland with limited activities in Russia. The Group produces drinks with care and love in eight main production plants. Key own brands include carbonated beverages Kofola and Vinea, waters Radenska, Studenac and Rajec, syrup Jupí, beverages for children Jupík, energy drinks Semtex and UGO fresh juices and salads. In selected markets, the Group distributes among others Rauch, Evian, Badoit or Vincentka products and under the licence produces RC Cola, Orangina, Rauch or Pepsi.

The Kofola Group increases its year-on-year sales even without last year’s extremely hot summer.

Despite weather conditions not being so favourable, the Kofola Group has successfully increased its sales once again, recording a year-on-year growth of 3.6%. Revenues in the first nine months of this year grew by EUR 6,577 thousand to EUR 190,384 thousand. The EBITDA figure grew by 9.3% in Q3, while it has remained at a similar level year-over-year, growing by 0.5%.

The Kofola Group Increased Net Sales by 3.4% in the First Half Year, the Biggest Growth in Sales Reported in the Adriatic Region.

Despite the unfavourable weather conditions, the Kofola Group increased net revenue in the first half year in all regions where it operates. The Group’s net sales rose year-on-year by 3.4%. Excluding the impact of LEROS, which the Group purchased in March 2018, the growth was 2.4%. The positive revenue growth was mainly due to the Adriatic region, where the company Studenac grew the most. The Group continues to focus on further growth opportunities and recently announced the purchase of the Czech company Espresso. This acquisition has helped the Group to expand its gastro portfolio through the inclusion of top-quality coffee brand Café Reserva and the premium tea Dilmah.
